When MADE OF. came to us in collaboration with The Next Race Studio, much of the foundation for their Shopify store was already in place.
Instead of rebuilding everything, they needed a development partner who could take over the existing theme, improve what was already there and help get the website over the line for launch.The challenge

Projects don’t always arrive neatly at the beginning.

Sometimes the design has already been created. Sometimes another development team has already started the build. And sometimes a brand simply needs somebody to step in, understand what exists and get everything working the way it should.

That was our role with MADE OF.

The store needed final improvements, additional development and technical support ahead of launch — without unnecessarily replacing the work that had already been completed.

What we did

We took over the existing Shopify theme and reviewed how the store had been structured.

From there, we made a series of refinements and improvements across the website, developing additional functionality where needed and helping bring the storefront closer to the finished experience the team wanted.

Our approach was focused on working with the existing foundation rather than against it.

Where something worked well, we kept it. Where something could be improved, we improved it. And where additional custom development was required, we introduced it in a way that fitted naturally into the existing store.

Preparing for launch

As the launch approached, we helped MADE OF. through the final development stages and ensured the store was ready to go live.

That meant providing the flexibility to deal with those last-minute adjustments and improvements that inevitably appear when a brand moves from development into the real world.

An ongoing partnership

Following launch, we continue to support MADE OF. with ongoing Shopify maintenance and development.

Whether that means introducing new functionality, making storefront improvements or dealing with technical requirements as the business grows, our role is to provide the team with reliable development support when they need it.
